June 2024: Dr. Krabbenhoft participated in an outreach day at Swan lake in Sitka, Alaska with a team of researchers from UB and the US Forest Service. They demonstrated sediment core collection methods and discussed project goals (see Schumer press release below) with members of the public in coordination with the Sitka Science Center.
